Jesuit Father Pedro Pantoja Arreola formed in the teaching of liberation theology in the last 45 years endorsed the struggle of the most vulnerable groups. His first battle was fought in the grape fields of California, USA, where in 1965 he organized the requirement of fair wages for Mexican workers. On his return to Mexico, in the state of Coahuila, he joined labor movements demanding dignified treatment and exploitative practices were eliminated. He created the civil association Border Justice, which operates nationwide, and founded in Saltillo "Belén-Posada del Migrante"
